Square Payroll is Great
Having come from a 30-year background in payroll management for a big company I was dreading the prospect of going through the procedure once more for 11 part-fourth dimension employees. No worries: since my square time card system and payroll are linked, payroll , from managing fourth dimension cards , direct deposit , taxation payments and reporting , deductions and all that goes along with payroll has been perfect. In the payroll world, that's a big inquire. The added benefit of existence able to add employees and at present adapt time cards on the app is a nifty addition .

Glitchy, frustrating and disappointing
The part that is most disappointing is that this app has many of the functions I demand and desire in a payroll app. However, when you input information for team members, the app freezes. Additionally, I have a lot of function time hires (as an employer) and foursquare sends my new hires an electronic mail to sign up. Every single one of my new hires reports some kind of problem signing up, from glitchy freezing and subpar processing of personal data. I've gotten to the point of telling all my new hires not to use the mobile app when submitting data for payroll and direct them to use the desktop version. Still, when they use the desktop version they constantly encounter the "uh-oh, something went wrong."
I don't accept fourth dimension to hold each of my new hires' hands and walk them through troubleshooting signing upwards. I need something that works consistently and across the lath for my team.
I've been super disappointing and am now because changing my payroll service (which is a nightmare in itself). Square better fix these problems pronto or you're going to lose my business.

I want to love information technology but I don't
The idea of an app is to brand life easier. At the touch on of a button you have what you need. Except this app is just a headache. When my employees login at 11, my app says they clocked in at viii. They clock out and the app doesn't clock them out until hours afterwards. I have contacted support and was merely told we must be in different time zones when we are standing side by side and all devices are on the same fourth dimension and internet connectedness. So you can't see fourth dimension cards until the previous calendar week pays out, so when they tell me their timecard is messed up (which they can't fix themselves) I have to wait until the stop of the week to prepare it because I can't admission it before then. When I finally come across the time cards and they're completely wrong because of the time difference, information technology'south a disaster. This app is painful to utilise and I am not at all happy with the feel of having payroll employees.
